Teresa Ann Land

Teresa Ann Land, 63, of Ridge Farm, Illinois, left us peacefully on February 3rd, with family by her side. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Teresa will be remembered for her kindness, avid craftiness, and for her love of the color pink and Diet Mt. Dew. 

Teresa was born May 23, 1961, to Gene and Jean Alice Sprouls. Teresa is survived by her father, Gene (Phyllis Miller) Sprouls, sister Shari Hutson, and sister Gina (Randy) Buhrmester, as well as a bevy of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Alice. 

She married Norman Land on July 19, 1980, he survives. Together they had two children, Nicole (Anthony Jr.) Lee of Ridge Farm, IL, and Joshua (Mercedes) Land of Cayuga, IN. She was a blessed boy-grandma with five rowdy grandsons: Anthony III, Landon, and Benson Lee, and Matthew and Jayden Land.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at the Ridge Farm Friends Church in Ridge Farm, IL. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with the memorial service following at 11 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for your support of Teresa's love for the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Band program. Checks should be made out to GRHS Band and mailed to Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School, Attn: Paige Smith.
