Teresa A. Loden

Cayuga, Ind. - Teresa A. (Maxfield) Loden, 63, of Cayuga passed away at 12:09 a.m. EST Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born March 13, 1954 in Vermillion County, Indiana the daughter of William R. and Betty J. (Atkinson) Maxfield.

Teresa married Rex L. Loden on May 15, 2010 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include her children: Dale (Meisha) Jumps of Cayuga, Indiana and Mary Ann (Shawn Parks) Jumps of Terre Haute, Indiana; step daughters: Amy, Michelle, Tara and Tia; step sons, Tony, Johnny and Rex Jr.; her mother: Betty J. Maxfield of Clinton, Indiana; twenty-two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one brother: Dale (Paula) Maxfield of Cayuga, Indiana; special friend: Fran Hernandez of Hume, Illinois, along with several nieces and nephews.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father; son: William Jumps; grandson: Lincoln Loden, and brother: Terry L. Maxfield.

Teresa retired as a LPN in December 2016 from the V.A. Illiana Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was a 1972 graduate of North Vermillion High School and a graduate of Ivy Tech College in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a former member of the Perrysville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Teresa enjoyed watching NASCAR (Favorite Driver - Jimmy Johnson), sewing, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor James Blue; Burial: Miller Cemetery, Lodi, Indiana; Visitation: Noon EST Wednesday, January 31, 2018 until time of services at the funeral home.
