Tara Jean Martin

Danville - Tara Jean Martin, 45, of Danville passed away at 9:28 PM on September 6, 2017 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, IL. Tara was born on July 11, 1972 the daughter of Harold and Patricia (Parson) Cassidy in Danville, IL. Tara married Tony Martin on May 20, 1989 in Danville, IL and he survives. Survivors include her father, Harold Cassidy, her husband, Tony Martin both of Danville, IL, three sons, Travis Martin of Danville, IL, Ty (Kim Cohoon) Martin of Paris, IL and Trenton (Brittany Bean) Martin of Danville, IL, two daughters, Tasha Martin and Tia Martin both of Danville, IL, one brother, Terry Cassidy of Danville, IL, one sister, Teana Andersen of Arlington TX, as well as seven grandchildren. Tara was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Cassidy and one sister, Sara Readdy. Tara was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid painter, enjoyed garden and simply being in the outdoors. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion Street Danville, IL.
