Tamela Price

Tamela Tammy Lynn Price, 49, of Danville, went to be with the lord, at 7:41 a.m. Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at her home. Tammy was born on June 12, 1958 in Danville, the daughter of Howard and Anita (Williams) Price. She is survived by her father- Howard (Sandy) Price of Danville; three brothers- Dean (Louisa) Price of Tampa, Florida, Frank (Joanna) Price of Mishawaka, Indiana and her twin brother Tim (Shelly) Price of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother- Anita Price and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Tammy graduated from Hope Christian School in 1976. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Tammy loved horses. In her younger years, she delivered the Commercial News on horseback in Alvin. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments figurines and reading her bible. Tammy loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life graveside service for Tamela Tammy Lynn Price will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park, with Pastor Scott McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 " 7:00 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
