Villa Grove Tamara Marie York, 55, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home in Villa Grove, IL. She was born on July 25, 1963 in Cicero, IL to Leonard and Nancy Marek. Tami married Steven Lynn York on November 5, 1999 in Urbana, IL.

Tami is survived by her husband; children Michael Jaczak, Stacie York, and Ashley York; step-children Jessica York, Stephanie York, and Steven York; grandchildren Trinity, Shya, McKenzie, Brandon, Kylie, Emily, Jeffery, and Sabrina; siblings Jeff Marek, Tim Marek, and Jenny Skorney; close friend and Michaels Godmother Cathy Carroll; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, IL, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL. Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Champaign, IL.
