Syliva Mae Williams

GEOREGTOWN- Sylvia Mae (Savage) Williams, 102, of Georgetown, passed away at 10:18am on June 15th, 2004, at Provena USMC Logan Campus in Danville. She was born on June 2nd, 1902, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of William C. Savage and Debbuah A. (Bouton) Savage. She was united in marriage to the late Oren Frank Williams on November 26, 1924 in Georgetown. He preceded her in death. Surviving family that will dearly miss Sylvia include; one sister, Adonna Spezia of Georgetown, as well as several nieces and nephews. An infant daughter, three brothers -Cecil, Raymond, and William Savage, and one sister - Hazel Savage, preceded Sylvia in death. She enjoyed working at Burgoyne's Flower Shop in Georgetown and did so until retirement. Sylvia was a member of Eastern Star and in her spare time enjoyed being with family as well as tending her flowers.
