Susan Martin

Susan M. Martin, 58, of Indianola, passed away at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born January 3, 1949 in San Diego, California, the daughter of Wayne M. and Irene J. (Davidson) Nightingale. Susan married Robert D. Martin on December 18, 1970 in Danville. Survivors include her husband Bob, of Indianola; a son, Robert (Jaimee) Martin of Oak Harbor Washington; two daughters, Amy Wright of Texas and Tammy Williams of New Jersey; one sister, Adeline Hatfield of California; ten grandchildren, Katie, Stefi, Megan, Amanda, Derek, Justin, Robert, Hope, Anna, and Ethan and one special friend Doris Parman of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Nightingale. Susan was a homemaker and enjoyed making crafts. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A celebration of life for Susan M. Martin will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Bishop Aaron Julian officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2007 at the funeral home.
