Susan Louise Allison

Susan Louise Allison, 69, of Georgetown, went home to be with her Lord after and 8-year battle with cancer at 8:36am, Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. She was born on May 29, 1946, in Danville, IL the daughter of Alvin L. and Grace K. {Adams} Peelman. She is survived by: her sons, Todd Allison of Murphysboro, TN & Ted Allison of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Miranda & Kaci Allison; her sister, Cathy (Wayne) Warfel of Missouri & Liz Mann of Georgetown; her special aunts, Diane Sollars & Mary Howard; her special nieces & nephews, Kelly, Nicki, and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & friends. She was preceded in death by her mother. Susan was a member of the First Church of Christ in Georgetown where she volunteered her time to help with the Food Bank & Clothing Room, as well as the Stitch & Sew where she helped to send hats & blankets to children in Africa and people in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. As were her wishes, Susan will be cremated and no services will be held. Memorial donations may be given in her name to First Church of Christ Food Pantry. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home assisted her family with arrangements.
