Susan Elaine Mohr

Susan Elaine Mohr (Bengry), age 79, of Danville, Illinois, daughter of the late Robert and Vivian Bengry, passed away September 30, 2018 at Hawthorne Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on November 15, 1938 in Lansing, Michigan. Susan is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law - Robert and Tracy Mohr of Beecher, IL, Doug and Kristin Mohr of Cumming, GA; grandchildren - Ethan, Hayden, Kaitlyn, Kohnor, and Kooper; sister and brother-in-law - Bonnie and Terry Cary of Palmetto, FL; nieces - Vicki Taylor, Jennifer Andrews (Duncan McPherson), and Debbi Andrews, along with many great-nieces and nephews. Susan was a member of Saint James United Methodist Church and of the Women's Circle. She was a graduate of Danville High School and Michigan State University. Susan loved to spend time with her family, play bridge and watch Indy Car races. She was an avid fan of Michigan State basketball and live theater. Susan was also a member of Red Hats. A celebration of Susan's life will be held at 11:00 AM on October 4th, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 Vermilion Street, Danville, IL 61834. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM prior to the funeral service. Internment is to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in her name to St. James United Methodist Church.
