Susan 'Dianne' Taylor

Danville - Dianne Taylor, 49, of Danville, passed away on March 18, 2014. She was born August 22, 1964 in Beardstown, IL the daughter of Roderick and Neva Harris VanWinkle. She married Mark Taylor on August 10, 1983. She is survived by her husband, Mark; her sons, Anthony (Ruth) Taylor and Andrew (Kristin) Taylor; her daughter, Melissa Taylor; her step daughter Amber Taylor; her brother Rodney (Stephanie) VanWinkle; her sisters Vicki (Myron) Miller and Kim VanWinkle; her grandchildren Alyssa Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Alyssa Taylor, and Hunter Taylor; her mother-in-law Cheryl Taylor and father-in-law Audra Taylor. Dianne was a devout Christian woman her entire life; her faith in the lord was unwavering. She loved to play the piano at church. She was also a Sunday school teacher for over 20 years; the children there called her “Grandma D”. Dianne was an amazing grandmother; she would make crafts for grandchildren, and bake cookies from scratch for them almost weekly. Dianne also enjoyed being in nature especially near the oceans, she loved relaxing and listening to the waves as they crashed into the beach. Above all else, Dianne loved her family and she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Diannes life will be held at 5pm on Friday March 21, 2014 at the Danville Alliance Church in Danville.
