Sue Ross

Sue Ross, 70 of Danville, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on October 19, 1949 the daughter of Ronald and Mary (Haun) Perry in Danville, IL.

Sue leaves behind her husband, Jack Lee Ross; three children, Brian (Dawn) Ross, Julie Kindred, and Michael (Misty) Ross; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, John (Phyllis) Perry.

She is preceded in death by both her parents, Ronald and Mary Perry; as well as her son in law, Eric Kindred.

Sue loved flowers, the outdoors, going to the lake, metal detecting, and rock hunting. She especially loved her family and enjoyed going on car rides with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed dearly by her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor James Blue. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
