Sue E. Decker

Sue E. Decker, 52, of Danville passed away at 6:00am on Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Provena USMC. Sue was born November 5, 1955 in Danville the daughter of Richard and Rose Vance Decker. Sue will always be remembered for her good heartedness and always putting others ahead of herself. She loved her family, her Saturday mornings with Yazzy watching Dora, drinking coffee, and having a candy cigarette. She adored Elvis. Evening walks with the dogs down by the creek and taking in any stray cat or dog that may wander into her yard. Sue had worked for North Logan Healthcare for 30 years. She will be sadly missed by her parents Richard Sr. and Rose; siblings Ruth (Dennis) Young, Tamela (Scott) Tomlinson, Carol Orr all of Danville, Richard William (Randy Earl Zoller) Decker Jr. of Ruskin, FL and David (Laura) Decker of Danville; daughter Cassandra Kennedy; grandchildren Yasmin and Anthonie Kennedy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. A celebration of Sues life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday September 27, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
