Sue Ann Paris, 64, of Danville, passed away at 10:37 a.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, at Provena-U.S.M.C. Sue was born November 17, 1941, in Danville, the daughter of John T. and Helen (Arms) Gouty. She married Jim Paris on July 15, 1960 in Danville at the Union Corner United Methodist Church. He survives. Sue is survived by one son, Mark Paris of Danville; one daughter, Lori (David) Allison of Bismarck; two grandchildren, Daniel Paris of Danville and Cole Allison of Bismarck; one brother, Robert Gouty of Danville; two sisters, Johanna Belser of Indianapolis, IN and Roberta (Donald) Porter of Oakwood; several nieces and nephews; and a life long friend, Eva Landers of Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Tonya Paris. Sue graduated from Bismarck High School in 1959 and was a homemaker. She loved her flowers, as well as going fishing and shopping. Sue was an avid Cubs and Illini fan. She enjoyed going to her grandsons baseball games. Sue played Bunco and euchre and was a member of clubs for both. She loved to socialize; she truly enjoyed people and never met a stranger. Sue was a member of Union Corner United Methodist Church. A celebration of Sues life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Patti Wise officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Union Corner United Methodist Church in Sues name.
