Steven 'Steve' Borst

Tilton- Steven Steve” R. Borst, 44, of Tilton passed away at 7:37 PM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. He was born on September 9, 1969 in Danville to Randy and Kathie Baker Borst. He married Jessica “Jessy” Hayden on March 8, 2013 in Danville. She survives. He is survived by his mom, Kathie; two children, Kyle (Lindsay) Borst of Tilton and Kymberly Borst of Danville; step-daughter Autumn Hayden; brother, Jason (Ashley) Borst of Danville and sister, Dana (Eric) Burress of Tilton; three grandchildren, Hadley, Brielle, and Carter; his grandmother, Bernice Baker; and nieces and nephews, Tyler, Annabella, Cade, Chloe, and Zane. He was preceded in death by his dad, Randy, grandpa Joe Baker, and grandparents Hank and Amber Borst. Steve enjoyed being outdoors and loved to spend time with his grandkids. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Steve Borst will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Community Church of God at 535 S Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832. Pastor Jeremy Zerkle will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Stearns Cemetery in Fithian. Memorial visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services on Tuesday, also at Community Church of God. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Church of God.
