Steven Arnold Murray

Steven Arnold Murray, 59, sadly passed away on September 7th, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother Pauline Burke, father Floyd Murray, brother Jerry Murray, cousin Raymond Ingram and sister-in-law Penny (Pribble) Forrest. He married Teresa (Pribble) Murray on July 27th, 1984. He is survived by her, his daughter April (Mike) Vish and his two grandchildren Joslyn Vish and Addison Vish, his beloved mother-in-law Donna Bryant, sister Donna Kindred, sister-in-law Debbie Murray along with many nieces and nephews. He dedicated his life to taking care of his family. He worked at McLane Midwest for 24 years and on Stine Farm in Indianola for 28 years for Bill Stine who was like a father to Steve. He enjoyed gardening, listening to rock n' roll music on his tablet and spending time with his family. He was a dedicated and loyal husband, father and employee. He will be greatly missed by many family members, friends, coworkers and especially his wife, daughter and grandchildren. There will be a private family viewing and cremation. A beautiful garden now stands alone, missing the one who nurtured it But now he is gone, His vegetables still bloom, and the sun it still shines, But the rain is like tear drops, for the ones left behind, The weeds lay waiting to take the gardens beauty away, But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay, he loved every vegetable even some that were weeds, So much love he would plant with each little seed, But just like his garden he was a part of Gods plan, So when it was his time God reached down his hand, God looked through the garden searching for the best, That's were he found Steve, it was his time to rest, But God had a spot in His garden, that needed a gentle soul, So when you start missing Steve, remember if you just wait, When God has a spot in His garden, Steve will meet you at the gate
