Steve Miller

Stephen Steve L. Miller, 56, of Danville, died at 4:33 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2007 in Williamsport, Indiana. Steve was born on September 12, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the son of Edward and Mabel (Youngblood) Miller. He married Donna Long on September 5, 1971 in Danville, Illinois. He is survived by one son- Casey (Candace) Miller of Williamsport, Indiana; one daughter- Cody (John) Roark of Alvin, Illinois; two brothers- Ray (Emily) Hackney of Kentucky and John (Linda) Miller of Danville; four grandchildren- Tori Smock and Keegan Roark of Alvin, Illinois and Cierra and Cara Miller of Williamsport, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son- Aaron E. Miller. Steve graduated from Danville High School in 1969. He worked for more than 25 years as a union pipefitter for Local #157. Steve loved to go fishing and mushroom hunting. A Celebration of the Life of Stephen Steve L. Miller will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Alvin, Illinois following the service on Friday.
