Stephen Riggle

Danville - Stephen L. Riggle, 68, of Austin, TX, formerly of Danville, passed away on August 10, 2015 in Austin. He was born on May 11, 1947 in Danville to Billy and Iva Riggle. He married Beverly Riggle. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Jessica Crichfield of Denver, CO; his mother, Iva Riggle; two sisters, Jill Price of Danville and Susan (Colin) Waxham of Paxton; special aunts, Jean Quick and Mildred Riggle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, Billy, and a sister, Kim Lane. Steve was a 1965 graduate of Danville High School and received his Bachelor's from Eastern Illinois University. He most recently worked with developmentally disabled adults and children in Austin, TX. Steve also loved music, movies, and animals and he had more patience than most in learning new technologies. A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held from 2-4 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the Danville Boat Club. Cremation rites were accorded in Austin.
