Stan Ceader

Stan F. Ceader, 60, of Westville, passed away at 5:39am, Thursday, October 2, 2008, at his home. He was born on June 25, 1948, in Danville, IL, the son of Kayton and Frances (Rafacz) Ceader. Survivors include: his special friend & companion, Shelia Spencer of Westville; his brothers, John Ceader of Danville & Jim (Maria) Ceader of Westville. Stan was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Frank & Charles; and three nieces, Karissa, Marilyn, & Danielle. Stan graduated from Schlarman High School and then Eastern Illinois University. He was a teacher and had taught at Danville High School, Westville Schools, & St. Marys School. Stan had also worked for Eagle grocery store in Tilton. He enjoyed gardening, feeding the squirrels and animals, and fishing. A Mass of Christian Burial for Stan will be held at 10:00am, Monday, October 6th, 2008, at St. Marys Parish, 231 N State St, Westville. Father Timothy Souppe will officiate. Visitation will be held 4pm to 6pm, Sunday, October 5th, 2008, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. He will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in his name to St. Marys Foundation.
