Sondra 'Sonja' Watson

Sondra Sonja Lee Watson 66 of Fithian Passed away at 11:05 A.M. Wednesday June 27, 2007 at her home. She was born May 25, 1941 in Danville the daughter of Leland and Imogene Juvinall Charles. She married Robert Watson on March 28, 1959 in Shawneetown, IL, he survives also two sons; Robert C. (Julie) Watson JR of Kodak, TN, Jeffry Scott Watson of Fithian, one daughter: Sheryl L.(Doug) Morning of Indianapolis, two sisters; Patricia Waterstradt of Danville, Jacqueline Gossar of Danville, a step brother; Raymond (Pam) Hilleary of Danville, seven grandchildren; Robert C. (Stephanie) Watson III, Jenny Lynn (Chad) Vinson, Douglas K. Morning II, Meghan L. Morning, Elise C. Morning, Jeffry Watson JR and Carissa Noel Watson. She was preceded by her parents and a daughter-in-law Carol. Sonja was a member of Danville First Assembly Church and attended the Evangelical Church in Danville. She enjoyed long drives in the car and loved animals especially her two dogs. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. A celebration of life funeral service for Sonja will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 1, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating will be Pastor. J.T. Riggs.
