Skylar 'Bill' Taylor Gay

Skylar Bill Taylor Gay, 17, of Westville, passed away at 11:54am, October 2, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on March 19, 1996, the son of the late Kevin Gay and Denise Tomlinson Gay. Skylar was a well-known die-hard Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed playing X-box, surfing the internet and UFC Cage fighting. He loved his two dogs, Smokey & Rastus. Skylar especially loved being around his family & friends. He will be dearly missed by: his mother, Denise Gay of Westville; his brothers & sister, Kevin R. Gay II, Austin J. Gay, & Chelsey L. (fianc, Justin James) Gay; his grandparents, Don & Luella Hennett of Westville; his niece, Adyson Gay; his special family & many friends, Auntie T & Pep, Devin, Jeremy, Justin, Jonny, Timmy & Sara, John Boy, Frog, Joe Dirt, Booty, T.K., Jimmy, & Bub. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 7, 2013 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 1pm-5pm, Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Immediately following the service, family and friends are welcome to meet at the Westville American Legion for luncheon. Donations may be given to his family to assist in purchase of a marker.
