Shirley Knee

Shirley Knee 80, of Loveland, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at The Landing of Long Cove Assisted Living in Mason, Ohio. She was born in Blount Township,IL. on February 29, 1940 the daughter of Russell and Grace (Laird) Clem.

On May 10, 1963 she married her husband of 43 years, Lenard Knee, who precedes her in death. Shirley is survived by her children Tim (Tim Bentley) Knee and Teresa (Kip) Ping; grandchildren, Abby (Matthew) Lehmenkuler and Levi Ping; great grandson, Luke Lehmenkuler; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings, Bob, Jim, Betty, Mary, Al, Bert, Walt, Russ, Frank, and Bill.

Shirley enjoyed playing Euchre, spending time traveling and going out to eat with friends. She loved to bake cookies, everyone looked forward to receiving her holiday cookie trays. Time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren was most important to her. Shirley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, services for Shirley will be private.

The family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois 3940 N. Vermilion 61834 Danville, Illinois with her arrangements.
