Shirley A. Lane

Shirley Anne Lane, 56, of Danville passed peacefully on May 25, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson's. She was born on July 13, 1961 in Danville the daughter of Frank R. and Phyllis J. (Cooke) Boyd. Shirley will be deeply missed by her mother, Phyllis Boyd, brother, Larry (Jodi) Boyd of Allen, TX, sister, Sheri (Joe) Foster of Fishers, IN, nieces and nephews; Brandon, Brice, Blake Boyd and Kelli, Jenna Foster, aunts; Charlotte Montgerard, Ruth (Tom) Thornsborough, Katherine Giguere and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Boyd. Shirley worked in commercial cleaning for many years. Shirley loved to listen to music and dance. Her family would like to thank Gardenview Manor and Transitions Hospice for all their loving care for Shirley. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in her name to Gardenview Manor or Transitions Hospice.
