Sherry Lynn Perry

Mahomet - Sherry Lynn Bolton-Perry, 52, passed away on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at her son's home in Mahomet, IL. She was born on July 12, 1965 in Urbana, IL to Donald Bolton and Diana Slade. She is survived by her father; son Michael (Katie) Perry; grandchildren Taran, Logan, Mariah, Cindy, Skyler, and Ryan; siblings April Arrasmith, Dolly Smith, and Jason (Jennifer) Piper; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and brothers Daren Bolton and Jesse Wiley. Sherry had a big heart and loved helping other people. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Sherry loved shoes, Christmas, and riding Harley motorcycles. A celebration of Sherry's life will be held at 6pm on Sunday September 17, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820. Visitation will be held prior from 4pm-6pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sherry's name to the American Cancer Society.
