Sherrill Kay Cook

Urbana Sherrill Kay Cook, 79, of Urbana, formerly of Danville passed away on June 15, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Sherrill was born on June 27, 1940 the daughter of Dennie and Kathleen (Woods) Williams in Danville.

Survivors include her two sons, David (Julie) Cook of St Joseph, IL and Mark (Dawn) Cook of St Joseph, IL, one daughter, Connie (Reggie) Thompson of Jackson, TN, one sister, Donna (Gary) Duckett of Mahomet, IL, one brother, Dennie (Laney) Williams of Holly Ridge, NC, as well as four grandchildren, Sherrill Thompson, Casey (Caden) Engel, Matthew Cook and Sam Cook.

Sherrill is preceded in death by her parents.

Sherrill had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and loved her family very much. She was retired from Clifton Gunderson in Champaign where she was a receptionist. In her free time, Sherrill enjoyed cooking and baking.

A private family graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 at 9:00 AM in Sunset Memorial Park of Danville, 3901 N. Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61832. Pastor Derrick Baker will officiate.
