Sheila Mack Bennett

Clinton, Ind. - Sheila Mack Bennett, 44, of Clinton, passed away at 3:30 a.m. EST Saturday, February 1, 2014 near Clinton, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born January 17, 1970 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Donald and Alice Martin Pruitt. Sheila is survived by her two sons, James(Jamie)Murdock of Clinton, Indiana and Kalab(Christina Upp)Mack of Cayuga, Indiana; six grandchildren, Makala; Stella; Chloe; Cougar; Isiah and Jaydelyn; four sisters, Sandy(Dennis)Jackson of California; Karen Pruitt of Peoria, Illinois; Vicki Parson of Alaska and her twin, Sonya(Darin)Maurer of Tuscola, Illinois; two brothers, Jerry Gooch of Alaska and Wes Gooch of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Sheila was preceded in death by one sister, Darla Keys. Sheila attended the New Life Family Church, where she was recently saved. She was a 1988 graduate of Westville High School. She enjoyed fishing, tubing, spending time outdoors and feeding birds. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and many friends. Memorial services: 2 p.m. EST Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Shaun Farley. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
