Frankfort, Ind. - Sharon Sue Watchbaugh, 68, of rural Frankfort and formerly of Cayuga died December 19, 2017 at I.U. Health Frankfort Hospital.

She was born March 11, 1949 in Danville, Illinois to the late John A. and Mary D. (Hooton) Webb. She married Albert Gene Watchbaugh on May 14, 1971 in Frankfort and he survives.

Sharon was a 1967 graduate of North Vermillion High School. She was a clerk at the Frankfort BMV for 20 years and worked at Uni Electric for several years. She had lived in Cayuga, Indiana before moving to Frankfort in 1967. Sharon was a member of the Local 952 IUE, serving as Union Steward and President for 2 years and Chief Steward for 10 Years. She enjoyed bowling, reading and especially family gatherings.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Watchbaugh of rural Frankfort, Indiana; daughter, Gina (Craig) Rutledge of Frankfort, Indiana; son, Jamey (Companion Mandy Beauchamp) Watchbaugh of Frankfort, Indiana; three sisters, Vickie Webb and Linda Webb Myers both of Cayuga, Indiana and Brenda Webb Olsen of Greenwood, Indiana; brother, Bruce (Cindy) Webb of Monon, Indiana and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Visitation: Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m. EST at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Visitation will then be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. EST at Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort, Indiana. Funeral service: Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. EST at the funeral home. Burial of cremains: Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. EST at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Frankfort, Indiana.
