Sharon "Sherry" Doggett

Sharon “Sherry” Sue Doggett, 78, of Danville, IL passed away at home with her family by her side on June 18, 2025 at 10:42 PM.

Sherry was born on December 13, 1946, the daughter of Franklin and Mary (Harden) King in Lafayette, IN. She married Daniel Doggett on April 26, 2013 in Danville, IL and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Doggett of Danville, IL, her daughter, Deborah (Tom) Brading of Rockville, IN, her son, Jeff (Robin) Hegg of Covington, IN, four grandchildren, Bradley (Kim) Suiters of Garwood, NJ, Kaitlyn (Grant) Steier of Louisville, KY, Kaila (Eric) Mosshammer of North Baltimore, OH and Gage (Emily) Hegg of Lafayette, IN as well as one great granddaughter, Emerson Suiters.

Sherry is preceded in death by her parents.

Sherry was a member of St Paul’s Catholic Church and worked several public accounting firms over the years. She enjoyed spending her free time sewing and working on crafts as well as spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday July 5, 2025 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1303 N Walnut Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. Father Cyr will officiate.
