Sharon Lee Schroeder Sharon Lee Schroeder, 56, of Danville passed away at 7:09 am Friday, November 23, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Sharon was born on September 15, 1951, the daughter of Jack and Marguerite (Bainbridge) Price. She married Dan H. Schroeder on June 25, 1972 in Danville. He survives. Other survivors are her son Scott (Tonia) Schroeder of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Kelly (Dave) McElroy of Catlin, Brother John (Deb) Price of Danville, grandchildren John, Summer, David, Kylee, and Alyssa who is on the way, as well as Sharons WorkSource family and the McElroys, Jeffers, and Ferpottos. Sharon graduated from Oakwood High School and achieved her associates degree in college, going on to become the Vice President of Finance at WorkSource in Danville. Sharon also was a co-owner and accountant at Promotek. Aside from work, Sharon was an animal lover and enjoyed sitting on her deck and listening to the sounds of her pond, sewing, quilting, crafts, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She also found spiritual comfort in Oakwood Christian Church. A celebration of Sharons life will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 2 pm, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Pastor Rick Fortier will be officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service also on Tuesday from 12-2 pm. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
