Sharon Reed

Sharon Kay Reed Smith died on April 25, 2017 in Danville. She was born in Danville on August 5, 1946 to Bill and Rosie Carmichael. She married Dannie Smith in 1965, he passed away in January of 2000. She then married Bob Reed on August 8, 2008. She is survived by her brother Bill (Caryn) Carmichael; son, Dannie (Kim) Smith; two grandchildren, Taylor and Trenton Smith; aunt, Helen White; cousins, Marsha, Ashley and Patty White. Sharon was an RN for all her adult life. She enjoyed doing ancestry, became a member of Daughters of the American Revolution on August 5, 2016. She loved collecting and painting Angels and Hooves for Hope. She is preceded in death by her father and husband Dannie. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at 1pm on Saturday May 6, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N Vermilion St. a visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Friday, May 5, 2017.
