Sharon Lee Clinton

Terre Haute, Ind. - Sharon Lee Clinton, 81, of Terre Haute and formerly of Eugene, Indiana passed away at 5:27 a.m. EDT Friday, June 24, 2022 at her residence.

She was born September 4,1940 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of the late Stella Alberta (Compton) Salesman and Robert Henry Bridgewater.

Sharon married William Franklin Clinton on February 2, 1957 in West Terre Haute, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters: Sherryl Micklus of Terre Haute, Indiana and Tena Powell of rural Kingman, Indiana; three granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, and special friend: Karen Dowers of Clinton, Indiana.

Sharon was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Michelle Edmiston.

Sharon was a homemaker. She attended the Cayuga Assembly of God Church. She was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial: 3 p.m. EDT Monday, June 27, 2022 at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana. Officiating: Ashton Stewart. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
