Sharon Kay Hardy

Danville Sharon Kay Hardy, 79, of Danville passed away at 9:51 AM on Friday, April 26, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was born September 19, 1944 in Danville, IL to Ernest and Zella (Smith) White. She married David Lee Hardy, who survives.

She is also survived by her two children, Doug (Rhonda) Hardy and Cindy Mahoy; grandchildren, Brooke (Brian), Kyleigh (Zach), Jordynn, Natalie (Peyton), Matthew, and Nathaniel; great grandchildren, Delaniee, Ellie, Drew, Dixon, Lawson, and Maggie; and a sister, Betty.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Sharon was a Registered Nurse and worked for over 40 years at St. Elizabeth and Lakeview Hospitals in Danville.

Per Sharons wishes, there will be no services at this time. Cremation rites will be accorded by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834.
