Sharon K. Neuman

Sharon K. Neuman, 73, of Georgetown, IL passed away on February 4, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Sharon was born on December 13, 1946 in Danville to Vernie and Helen (Ramsey) Denton. She married Joe Neuman in 1994, he preceded her in death in 2008.

Sharon earned her associate degree in business from DACC and worked at Quaker Oats for 22 years before her retirement. She loved spending time with her only friend, Mike, going to movies, walking and reminiscing with family. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Edward Terry, William (Lara) Noble of Springfield, IL, Joyce (Brian) Baker of Perrysville, IN, Mary (Monty) Eveland of Georgetown, IL; brothers, Vernie Denton of Catlin, IL, Tony Denton of Missouri; grandchildren, William, Christopher, Ashley, Gracie, Katelyn and Skye; great-grandchildren, Delilah, Kaleeyah, Daenerys and special friend, Mike Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Per Sharons wishes her services will be private and burial at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville will take place at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville 3940 North Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made in her name to the American Liver Foundation or the National Kidney Foundation.
