Sharon I Allison

Danville Sharon I. Allison, 68, of Danville passed away at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, IL at 10:04 PM on July 25, 2019.

Sharon was born on May 8, 1951 in Danville, IL the daughter of Homer and Margaret (Selsor) Allison.She was formerly married Bobby Jo Eberle, Sr and later spent 30 years with the love of her life, Jim Wilson. Both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include her four sons, Bobby Jo (Mercy) Eberle of Florida, Shawn Cotton of Danville, IL, Freedom Landers of Danville, IL and Brandon Allison of Danville, one brother, Steve (Glenda) Allison of Danville, IL and one sister, Maxine Cotton of Danville, IL as well as 8 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She also leaves behind dear friends, Kenny McQueen of Danville, IL, Diane Foster of Danville, IL and Kevin Wilson of Danville, IL. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Harold, Carl and Charles Allison and one sister, Marilyn Osborne.

Sharon attended the Second Church of Christ in Danville, IL. She worked at General Motors in Danville before transferring to Saturn in Springhill, TN. She retired with 30 years of service in the auto industry. After retirement, she worked at Heatcraft in Danville and later became the caretaker of the love of her life, Jim Wilson until his passing. After Jims death, she focused her attention on her dogs and spent most of her time with them and enjoyed her flowers. Once you met Sharon, she was your friend for life. There was not anything she would not do to help someone out. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834 with Cindy Zumwalt and Leland Cronkite co-officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
