Sharon Ciarlo

Sharon Ciarlo passed away peacefully on May 13, 2014. She was born in West Haven, CT on January 11, 1947 the daughter of Edward and Margaret Sweeney. Both of her parents preceded her in death. Sharon leaves behind two sons: Steven Ciarlo and David Ciarlo, and 5 siblings: Margaret (Harry) Bogen of Danville, IL, Edward (Lisa) Sweeney of Milford, CT, Kathy (George) Hines of West Haven, CT, Mary (Gerry) Roddy of West Haven, CT, and Eileen Sweeney of West Haven, CT. She also leaves niece and nephews Meghan (Raymond) Flegal of Indianapolis, IN, Patrick (Sarah) Bogen of Danville, IL, Matthew (Cassi) Bogen of Danville, IL, and many other nieces and nephews in Connecticut. Sharon lived in Connecticut until 2003 when she moved to Illinois. Sharon was an employee of Wal-Mart for the last several years. She enjoyed watching movies, spending time with her cats, and watching her great nieces and nephews, Emma, Caroline, Isabella, Jacob, Lucas, and Zachary Bogen grow up and enjoy life. A funeral Mass in celebration of Sharons life will be held at 11am on Saturday May 17, 2014 at St. Pauls Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville from 9:30am to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Sharons name to Carle Hospice.
