Sharon Ann Brazell

Sharon Ann Brazell, loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away suddenly on October 1st 2011 in Danville, IL. Sharon was born to Rensie and Marie Cavanaugh on February 18, 1944 in Sacramento, California but spent the majority of her childhood in Paris Illinois. The first girl of nine children, Sharon grew up being a second mother to her brothers and sisters. She married Patrick Joseph Brazell in 1964, moved to Los Angeles, and together they had three beautiful children, Renee Antoinette, Danielle Jacqueline and Michael Pride. Sharon worked in manufacturing while raising her three children. In 2010, she retired and moved to Glendale, California where she became part of the Scholl Canyon Estates, a senior housing community where she thrived. Sharon loved to help people. She loved to laugh. She loved to visit the missions of California with her sisters and play pinochle in the evening. She loved watching football and spending time with her family. She was Mom to many. And Sharon loved books! She is survived by her eight brothers and sisters, Daniel, Antoinette, Jacqueline, Rensie T., Richard, Rebecca, John and Joseph; her three children; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Joanna, Rebecca, Austin, Kameron, Gabriel; and her great grandchild Jaden Je t'aime Tre. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
