Shantel Wells

Shantel Sue Wells Shantel S. Wells, 41, of Danville, passed away at 9:48 a.m., Sunday, August 6, 2006, at her mothers residence. She was born on September 1, 1964, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Gary Maxwell and Sherry (Ford) Maxwell. Shantel was previously married to Floyd Wells. Survivors include her parents, Gary Maxwell of Alvin and Sherry (deceased step-father, Harold) Dieu of Oakwood, two sons; Blake (Sarah) Wells of Sidney, Illinois and Ryan (Erin) Wells of Potomac, Illinois; sisters Linda Clary, Nicole Maxwell, Kayla, Tiffany and Sarah; brothers Bobby, Danny and Billy Dieu and Jesse Maxwell ; special friend, Vit Acquino of Danville also many nieces,nephews and special friends. Shantel also has two grandchildren on the way. Shantel was preceded in death by her step-father, Harold Dieu. Shantel was a caretaker who worked out of her home. She loved interior decorating, crafting, and most importantly, spending time with her beloved family. A celebration of Shantels life will be held at Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Chapel, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, Illinois, at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, with Reverend John Prather officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Shantels grandchildren may be sent to United Comm.
