A beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend found peace on Saturday. Shane passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Anyone who knew Shane, loved Shane, feeling not only his passion for life but the deep love he had for family and his furry friends.

Shane was born in Danville, Illinois where he resided a majority of his life. He moved to San Antonio, TX where he earned an Associates in Aviation Mechanics. Shanes love for fixing things led him to a career as a diesel mechanic back in Rossville, IL where he and his wife of 17 years lived.

Shane is survived by his wife Heather (Urbanski), their children Hayden and Mina. He is also survived by his previous wife, Amy (Hittlet) and their children Mikala (Jaxon, Adalynn, Liam and Bransen), Kylie and Bailey. Surviving family members also include siblings, Shannin Connors (Kevin), Shellie Vaughn (Jerry). Shane is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Urbanski (Connie) and Sharon Neeley (Jerry).

Enough cannot be said of the void that will be left by this amazing human. He touched countless lives and maintained friendships through the years and over many miles. We know this. He would want each of us to take a moment, remember the good times and hugs those you love.

To you Shane Michael, this world will not be the same without you in it, but we vow to carry your legacy on every day until we meet again, living with the same zest for life that you held in your heart and demonstrated every day!

A Celebration of Shanes life will be held at 7pm on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
