Shane Allen Green, 30, of Georgetown, IL, rode up his last hill on August 29, 2021. Shane was born on April 23, 1991 to Tracy Green and Penny Pribble.
Shane attended Georgetown Ridge Farm Schools. At a very early age, Shane shared his fathers love of hillclimbing and they spent many years traveling together until his fathers health declined. Shane was the life of the party and would do anything for the people he cared about and saw the good in everyonealmost to a fault.
Shane is survived by his grandfather Norman (Melissa) Green, his children Adalynn, Bransen, Liam and Jaxon, his significant other Mikala Urbanski, brother Jordan Deffenbaugh, aunt Kim Green, uncles Jamie (Carma) Irby and Ryan (Tammy) Irby, many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Shane will be dearly missed by a host of friends, including his brother from another mother, Dylan Cosat and Ricky "Stinger" Clark.
Shane was preceded in death by his father Tracy Green, his mother Penny Pribble, and brother Christopher Deffenbaugh.
Like his father, Shane dealt with a lifetime of adversity. Shane is free now, in the arms of his mother and walking beside his father in Heaven.
