Sean Robert Walter

Sean Robert Walter of Winter Garden, FL formerly of Danville, IL passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2022 in Florida.

Sean was born on December 18, 1985 the son of Scott and Rhonda (Williamson) Walter in Danville IL.

Sean is survived by his parents, Scott and Rhonda Walter of Danville, brother, John (Tia) Walter of Danville, Nephew, Noah Walter and niece Claire Walter.

Sean is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Sean was a Boy Scout and attained the rank of Life Scout, was an avid Chicago White Sox fan and played football during high school. After graduating with High Honors from Danville High School in 2003 he attended Danville Area Community College and furthered his studies at Parkland Community College in design of fire sprinkler alarm systems. Sean moved to Florida in 2011 and worked as a Designer/Project Manager by Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinkler, Inc in Ocoee, Florida. He recently received a "First Burn Award" in recognition of his sprinkler system design that extinguished a fire in a residential building saving countless lives and property.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Bruce Parr will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 4-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
