Scott Ogle, 51, of Hillsdale, Indiana, went to his heavenly home at 9:40pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Union Hospital Gibson Family Hospice Care, Terre Haute, IN. Scott, fondly known as Scotty, was born to Jerry and Lynette Ogle on February 16, 1972, in San Leandro, California.
Scotty was a proud Local 157 Union worker. Throughout his years in the trade, Scott made many close friends who will remember him for his loyalty. He often referred to his coworkers as his "union brothers".
He will be dearly missed by his father, Jerry Ogle of Hillsdale, IN; his children, Jordan Ogle of Terre Haute, IN, Trae Ogle of Cloverdale, IN, Dalton Ogle of Bono, IN, Devin Ogle of Terre Haute, IN, Colton Ogle, of Terre Haute, IN, and Asher Ogle of Montezuma, IN; and his brother, Troy Ogle of Hillsdale, IN. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lynette Ogle.
Scott had a passion for motorcycles and would often ride with his friends to raise money for those in need. He was always willing to help others, despite facing challenges of his own. Scott always had a shoulder to lean on. He was passionate about his recovery community and was never shy to give praise to someone in recovery. He was passionate about his own recovery and would share his story to inspire others. Scott enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved being around his six grandchildren. Scott was commonly known for his sense of humor. His humor often resulted in someone being pranked. He loved doing jump scares and would laugh hysterically when someone would give him the reaction he was wanting. Though he has left us too soon, his memory will live forever within us. Never stop sharing memories of Scott, as that is how he will continue to live through us. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
