Scott 'Boogie' Lee Tomlinson

Scott Boogie Lee Tomlinson III, 1, of Danville, passed away at 2:12 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Boogie was born on September 30, 2008 in Danville, the son of Linsey Foster and Scott Tomlinson Jr. of Danville. He is survived by his parents; one brother- Camdon Foster of Danville; maternal grandparents- Brad and Jeannie Foster of Sidell; paternal grandparents- Scott and Tamela Tomlinson Sr. of Danville; maternal-great grandparents- Pat (Jim Cox) Standage of Paris, Paul Foster of Danville and Kay Barrett of Metcalf; paternal-great-grandparents- Richard and Rose Decker of Danville; Aunt- Samantha Tomlinson of Danville; Uncles- Richard Standage of Marshall and Ryan Scrappy Runyan of Danville; cousins- Laila Tomlinson of Danville and Jordan Standage of Marshall; and several very close family and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents- Opal and Richard Netzley and Frances Dean and Elmeritta Tomlinson; great uncle Bobby Standage; great uncle- Gene Tomlinson and great aunt Sue Decker. Boogie loved eating, taking baths, animals, bouncing toys, playing with toys and riding his 4-wheeler. He also enjoyed watching his dad work on cars and playing with his tools. His cute little smile will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside services for Scott Boogie Lee Tomlinson will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park, with Pastor Mike Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Memorials may be made to the Danville Humane Society in honor of Boogies love for animals.
