Scott A. Ross

Scott A. Ross, 46, of Danville, passed this life at 10:59 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2007 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Scott was born on June 30, 1961 in Danville, the son of Gene Stanley and Audrey (Laker) Ross. He married Trina Hall Ross on September 23, 1994 in Danville. Scott was currently engaged to Anita Miller. He is survived by his fianc(c)- Anita Miller of Danville; mother- Audrey Ross of Danville; one son- Joe Alan Ross of Danville; one daughter- Lacey Marie Ross of Royal, Illinois; one brother- Gary (Dana) Ross of Danville; two sisters- Chastity (David) Osborn of Danville and Linda (Mike) Nijak of Tilton; three special friends- John King of Catlin, Mike Gritton of Louisiana and Todd Wakeland of Oakwood; one aunt- Carolyn Johnson of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, one sister- Rhonda Kuyrkendall; one brother- Joe Allen Kuyrkendall. Scott attended Danville High School. He worked at Westville Ready Mix and for the State Highway Department as a snowplow driver in the winter. He loved watching his favorite NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth race. Scott was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved baseball and enjoyed attending the Danville Dans games. He also enjoyed golfing, softball, and playing volleyball. He loved to play Playstation and spend time with his children. A Celebration of the Life of Scott Alan Ross will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Visitation will be from 1:00 " 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
