Say Say Htwe, 78, of Danville, died at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Say Say was born April 19, 1928, in Sakhangyi Myaungmya, Myanmar, the daughter of U Charlie and Daw Sein. She married Maung Htwe, M.D. on February 11, 1963 in Yangon, Myanmar, he survives. Say Say is survived by two sons, Richard (Lisa) Htwe of Appleton, Wisconsin and Thomas Htwe of Reston, Virginia; two daughters, Patricia (Donald R.) Adeli, M.D. of River Forest, Illinois and Valerie Htwe of Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha Adeli and Michael, Matthew, and Nathan Htwe; and four sisters, Mu Mu, Htoo Htoo, Paw Ray, and Say Tha. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Say Say was a registered nurse and midwife at Rangoon Dufferin Hospital in Yangon, Myanmar. She enjoyed watching soap operas, quilting and crocheting sweaters. Say Say also loved to cook and gardening. She never spoke a bad word about anyone at anytime or anywhere. A celebration of Say Says life will be held at a 1:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at St. Pauls Catholic Church with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the church. Memorials may be made in Say Says name to St. Pauls Catholic Church or to Schlarman High School Endowment Fund.
