Saundra Lawhorn

Danville - Saundra Collen Lawhorn, 66, of Danville passed away on October 26, 2016. Saundra was born on March 12, 1950 in Covington, IN to Robert and Mary Townsend. She married Gerald Lawhorn on October 5, 1968 in Danville, IL. Saundra is survived by her son, Darren (Amber) Lawhorn; daughter Sonya (Gary) Sylvester; brothers, Richard and Robert Townsend; sisters, Alice French, Louis Boswell, Janice Stahl; grandchildren, James, Josh, Sandra, Amber, Corey, Caleb, Sahvanna, Colton, Cade and several great-grandchildren. Her favorite things to do were spending time with her family and her dog, Buddy. Saundra is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald; son, Gerald Lawhorn, Jr.; brothers James, Jerry, Bell and Fred Townsend; sisters, Joyce McDonald, Roberta Powell, Bertha Cadmen, Jackie Clawson, Patti Lape and Peggy Hancock. Per Saundra's wishes, there will not be services. Burial will take place at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park.
