Sarah Hyde

Sarah M. Hyde, age 83, of Catlin, passed away at 8:43 am on Monday, January 7, 2008 at her home. She was born February 21, 1924 in Indiana the daughter of Myrtle Sasseen and John Latin. Sarah had been married to Leslie Brown, Roland E. Culp, and William Hyde. They all preceded her in death. She is survived by her eight children: Leslie Raymond, Marcella, Gene, Terri, Judy, Robert, Lori Ann, and Vicki Jo; four brothers: Richard, Kelly, Tommy, Joe; one sister: Dobie; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children: Robert Benton and Harlan Dale Brown and one brother: James. Sarah was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved country music and collecting photographs of her family. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of the life of Sarah Hyde will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 11, 2008 in the mausoleum chapel at Springhill Cemetery in Danville with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, January 11, 2008 at Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center (formerly Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Home).
