Sarah Borgwald

Sarah Elizabeth Borgwald Sarah Elizabeth Borgwald, 83, of Danville, IL passed away at 11:40 pm on July 4, 2008 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born in Georgetown, IL on January 3, 1925, one of six children of Peter and Bessie (Readnour) Frahm. Sarah married Holly L. Borgwald on December 7, 1956 in Danville, IL. Survivors include daughter Charyl (Frank) Lawrence of Danville, grandson Christian Borgwald of Florida, sister in law Arlene Borgwald, nephew Howard Borgwald and sister Stella of Tucson, AZ, niece Elizabeth Cook, and best friend Gladys Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Sarah was an artist who loved her cats. She also enjoyed playing cards with her girlfriends, but most of all, spending time with her beloved grandson Christian. Per her request, Sarah will be cremated and interred at Georgetown Cemetery.
