Sandra Tuggle

Sandra Tuggle, 75, of Covington, IN, passed peacefully at home on December 2, 2020. She was born in Williamsport, IN, the daughter of Carl and Caroll {Gaskin} Roderick. She graduated second in her class from Seeger High School, Class of 1963. Sandy married Kenny Tuggle on February 26, 1966. They both loved to travel, and together travelled to all 50 States, England, and Scotland. While always ready to go anywhere, she was also perfectly happy sitting with Kenny on the backyard swing. Sandy worked many years as a secretary, retiring from the Fountain Trust Company in 2014. She had attended the United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Family was the most important thing in Sandys life! She loved nothing more than having her family together and spending time with her granddaughters. Sandy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ken Tuggle; her son, Matt (Carol) Tuggle; her daughter, Jill Shambach; her granddaughters, Katie Reiff, Krista Reiff, Riley Shambach, Sydney Tuggle, & Camryn Tuggle; her great granddaughters, Emerson Reiff & Quincy Allen; her sister, Sue (Stan) Blacketer; as well as many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley (Bill) Engle. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm (EST), Monday, December 7, 2020, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN, with Pastor Mason Shambach officiating. Her family was assisted by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932.
