Sandra Sue Edwards

Sandra Sue (Green) Edwards, 78, of Wataga, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her home.

She was born on July 20, 1946, daughter of the late William and Quaita (Dossey) Green.

Survivors include her sons: Brad (Donna) Edwards and Aaron (Ashley) Edwards; special niece: Michelle (Shane) Wilson; her grandchildren: John (Emily) Lawrence, Koby (Lexi Little) Edwards. Bella Edwards, Reid Edwards, Holly Edwards, Lauren (Ian) Pugliese, and Brendan Wilson; her great-grandchildren: Zella Lawrence and Graylynn Pugliese; and special friends: Marge Reddy Drake, and Vickie Edwards.

Along with her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister: Linda Wynn and a special friend: Patti Edwards.

Sandra graduated from Utterback-Brown Business College in 1965 and went on to work for Presence Home Health until retiring in 2014. She loved scrapbooking, crocheting, collecting purses and her beloved pet, Raif. Sandra loved decorating for Christmas, gift wrapping and making gift baskets for people. Most of all, Sandra loved spending time with her family. She could always be found cheering on her sons and grandkids at their athletic events with her cowbell in hand.

A private service for Sandra will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N Vermilion Street Danville, Illinois 61834.
