Sandra S. Woodard

Cayuga, Ind. - Sandra S. Woodard, 79, of Cayuga passed away at 4:10 p.m. EDT Friday, July 31, 2020 at her residence.

Sandra was born August 5, 1940 in Danville, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Moss.

Sandra married William R. Woodard, Sr. on October 30, 1959 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2015.

Survivors include her children: Bill (Julie Jackman) Woodard and Scott (Susan Nungester) Woodard both of Cayuga, Indiana; four grandchildren, and one brother: Hal Moss of Waynetown, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Sierra Dickens.

Sandra retired from North Vermillion High School in 2002 as the Secretary/Treasurer. She was a Danville High School graduate. Sandra enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and reading.

Graveside services and burial with social distancing guidelines: 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
