Sandra 'Rita Jean' Chrzanoski

Sandra Rita Jean Chrzanoski, 62, of Danville, passed away at 7:10pm, Monday, July 28, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on July 4, 1952, in Danville to Harold and Mary {Zimmerman} Nicholson Sr., both deceased. She was married to Raymond Chrzanoski on July 11, 1970, in Danville, until his passing in 1986. She and Arthur Sonny Chrzanoski Jr were partners for 20 years until his passing in 2010. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Lori Arnold of Tilton, Tammy (Scott) Barnes of Danville, & AdriAnn (John) Chrzanoski of Danville; her grandchildren, Erica Arnold, RJ Arnold, both of Tilton, Madyson Barnes of Danville, SonShyne Chrzanoski of Danville; her siblings, Larry (Wilma) Nicholson of Danville, Linda (Richard) Wilson of Danville, Bille Jo (Jeff) McDaniel of Westville, & Junior (Jill) Nicholson of Grigsville; her special friend, Karen Rudd of Tilton; her sister-in-law, Marie Shelton of Catlin; her Aunt, Marjorie DeLong of Arkansas; and a special thank-you to her niece, Stacy Nicholson of Indiana, as well as her many family and friends for their support. Sandra, who loved playing Bingo & Bunco, delivered newspapers for the Commercial News for several years. She also worked at the Best Western-Riverside then later at the Hawthorne Inn. She also enjoyed going for long drives to Kentucky. Sandra was also known to love to sit and watch the humming birds she fed faithfully. She loved her family above all else and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. A celebration of Sandras life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Southside Church of Christ, Tilton, with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held 3pm-7pm, Friday, August 1, 2014, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to her family to help with expenses.
